The other day I received an envelope in the mail from a company who was claiming that I needed to pay for a labor law poster.
I didn’t know what labor law posters were so I was about to pay the $94 that was demanded in the letter. After careful research, I found out that there are many Nevada labor law poster scams in existence.
There are a few great resources when searching Google for labor law poster scams which will help you figure out if you’re being scammed or not. I found out that this was a scam by analyzing the addresses for the company and the return envelope, which were different.
I received this envelope because I am an entrepreneur and just started an LLC for my business. These companies prey on those who do not know what is mandatory when starting a business and will fall victim to sending the money in the return envelope.
Hopefully by watching my videos, you will not be someone who falls victim to these types of scams.
